Me...

Hello! My name is Nadia, and I’m a junior at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). My major is media and communications with a minor in English. I also am a marketing and communication VISTA at Appalachian Sustainable Development (ASD).

 

Starting my educational journey at ETSU made me grow in many ways. After loving a few of my English classes, I decided to become an English major. However, I realized that I wanted to learn more technical skills and didn’t want to only be a writer. So, I decided to change my major to media and communications and made English my minor.

 

I realized very quickly that I made the right choice. My desire to create as a kid never left me, and I found that I could fulfill that through media and communication. I began shifting my focus toward multimedia production and writing. I have learned how to use Premier Pro, Audition, and InDesign from the Adobe Creative Cloud and plan on getting certified in many of the programs through my school.
